i'd have to say final fantasy, only because lvling up is essential, all zelda has is getting new gear, which ff games also have, well at least, all the zelda games i've played, i do like them both however, and i think its funny you picked these 2 because both series (can i call them that?) accroding to most old school fanatics, hit their prime in the super nintendo days, however if you weren't there at the time, noone that played ff7 first likes ff5 or 6 more, and everyone loves super nintendo zelda.... classic. (and if you dont love it then go breathe a glass of water)

also, anyone notice that its almost the same amount of people voting for zelda as it is for im gay? rofl

FF7 still my all time favorite...
like almost everyones..

FF in terms of story and characters, Zelda for gameplay.
