yea but lots and lots of these people are saying that because they were just kids when FF7 came out,
and that WAS when the graphics for it were absolutly awesome

Final fantasy 8 had the best story line imo. The card game was amazing and the characters backgrounds just made the game. The characters and story line drew you into ff8 and kept you playing even after you had beat the game many times. I also liked ff7 as the 2nd best ff game I've played. As for ff 9 i thought it was stupid and a waste of money. As for ff x i liked the graphics and the story line was all right, but it didn't draw me back to it. I can not even explain my all right hatred for ff x-2.

I need to play FF8 again it seems. Even though I went through it a few times. However the only relevance that the card game had to the game was the card Queen sidequest. Which was badass.

Eights storyline has the most heart. Plus its good enough to be debated ten years after it came out.

Almost every FF story line has an issue of love in the game xD

There was no love in FF1
and I have yet to find love in FF2
and X-2 didn't have love it had infatuation

Most have that as a subplot, but FFVIII the love story was the whole foundation. Squall didint care about saving the world, only her.
