ff8 is good..
but the story is too short....compare to other

Its longer then FF6,FF7,FF9. If you unlock all the secrets of all those games, you will have played FF8 longer.

Ff4 (ff2 snes) = best storyline

ff7 = great but way over talked about
ff9 = very fun nice storyline (first ff game that i owned)
fft = sorta tossed to side after a while
ff6 = haven't played
ff5 = haven't played
ff3 = need to find English rom
ff2 = gay storyline / least favorite ff
ff1 = nice choice at beginning
ffMQ = one of my favorite
ff10 = nice storyline on of my favorite
ff10-2 = hate it rented it returned 1hour later
ff11 = little above ff2 and ff 10-2
ff12 = haven't gotten 100% yet sorta driffted back into d2 keke!

i didn't like 8 so much until i played it through more than once and started playing different styles.
the card game is obviously one of the best..
magic drawing does suck, but the junctioning system was a fun way to custom your characters. you can replay 8 and play completely different each time..
somone said they got 100 before first mission - i think lots of people have done that (fun way to play), it's not smart though. best way to play = avoid as much XP as you can until you get end-game GFs, so you can use vit-up/str-up etc..

vouch , but the magic had shit names in 7 ;p life life 2 fire/2/3 ect that was fucking stupdid ^^

for those of you who thought 8 sucked cus lvl99 before first mission was easy: you messed up horribly. when i reached the 4th disk, my squal was lvl12, and could make the final boss look like what it was. a large chunk of pussy. i like 8 more than 7, but i will admit making a perf file on 8 takes ALOT more time than on 7, and the cardgame was the best minigame outa all the FFs.

Yup plus the card game took alot to to get 100% complete.
