Dude, FF13 was terrible. Your opinion is invalid.

you did you not read my full comment about FF13? I said the graphics were fucking amazing and the story plot was verrry good. what irritated me were the summons, battle system, and diolgue/character cast. Idk if the japanese version was better BUT the talking was just unbearable and WAY too cheezy. I like the idea of FF XIII and it COULD've been done better. As for FF VII, yes it is overrated, BUT that's because it's sooo good. Everything about it was well done, if they remade FF13 and made it better my opinion could just as easily change. Also, for the record how is liking pokemon and playing runescape relevant to this argument? To be honest, pokemon has a great plot and the idea of it is exceptionally good and THAT is why it is one of the most sold and popular hand held games. As for runescape, i just play to make extra fgz. Nothing more,nothing less.

edit: everyone has there favorites. The first FF game i played was FF X and it just blew me away. That is why i prefer it over 7 and any other game. The impression it left on me was just too much. I love that game and it is byfar one of the best games i have ever played in my life. Also, back to FF XIII XD, i just was soo used to have the "original" summons from past final fantasy games that the newest ones felt too different and too unlike final fantasy. Its like having a habit that i were used to for years changed drastically, It feels different and uncomfortable. Some people (like me) do not like the change and feel it is no longer like Final Fantasy. Also the battle system threw me off. The big + was that they still had Chocobo's and baby Chocobo's!

all i'm saying is, at least they're bringing something new and improved in every game they make. Trial and error. Problem is, it's hard to get everything right when you try to innovate so much, unlike pokemon with their 20 versions now which all have the same story with different pokemon. I enjoy new things. If I liked any 1 in particular, i'd just play it over and over. I've beaten 9 three times just for the story/setting

I do not enjoy FF7 as much as most of you. The storyline starts out really well, but then dies a little bit, in my opinion.

Yeah FF10 was very good! FF7 was still the best story line ever I'd have to say. Though I will say the new updated graphics and voice acting made ff10 so much better then the previous. Though the voice acting was terrible, atleast it had voice in it :P.
