dont get me wrong i totally agree that its one of the best, I simply mean its not FF in the sense that it is a significantly different game in terms of gameplay. It focuses on elements unseen in previous installments, and even though it does it exceptionally well, i still woulnt think this to be a FF game.

The customization [slightly] and Spells are significantly, "FF" but the espers, gameplay, and world, are all quite "unffish"

I enjoyed FFX mostly due to blitzball, yeh i know it's a mini game, don't flame me "YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH EFFORT WAS PUT INTO THESE GAMES! AND YOU LIKE THE MINI-GAME!"
Yes true, I think FF has been a great success (overlooking 14) but it's the little things that count =]
Same with FF8, spent most my time playing the card game or spamming limit breaks in low health.
