FF8 is based on jonction and CARD trading and playing, I've played aprox. 500 hours of cards playing and 100 hours the actual game. There is also alot of tips on getting the Squall's last weapon on disc one and you also need to stay the lowest lvl you can (about lvl 20)
. In this game , the character level don't matter ,Like i said, it's all in jonction .
There is also a trick to make gold with cottage and Potion .
And by the way, Play card with everybody and Atleast play card 10 hours in disc 1 before leaving the first island. It will help for futur and to get squall's weapon in first cd.

And jonction death won't do anything, it's based on character's level

Also trying to find the character cards lol. I just got the minimog along with ifrit.

get odin, then lvl up at the island closest to hell
gets u to lvl 100 in like an hour

Card game is so fun, you can pretty much play with anyone.

Bad idea. Your characters strenght is based on your junctions, not on your level. Your level will only make your enemies stronger. Hence being a low level = smartest thing to do.

save often, and draw 100 or every magic you encounter. do not stop until you have 100 on three characters for best junction. keep all tents as these transform into curagas later (very good HP junction)
