With a gameshark sure.  They arent hard but you cant kill them in 2 turns....

technically emerald can be killed with 1 shot from vincent, vincents death penalty powers up by how many enemies he has killed with it, and if you get up to around 42 000 kills with it (you have to have no life and play ever day), vincents shot will surpass the 9999 cap and give a glitched infinity damage shot, only enemy it will still only do 9999 dmg do it ruby weapon, kind of random.

barrets powers up on ap from materia equipped to the missing score. and it is said to do the same thing with 8x mastered kotr's.

not many people know this but theres lots of videos of asians doin it on youtube if you dont believe me, lawl

cant belive you guys think ruby is hardest, emerald was way harder (but beat them all smile.gif )

emerald is harder if you dont know how to beat him, people find him so hard because his airstorm does 9999 to all there characters, but youll realize his airstorm does 1111 dmg per materia equipped to that person, knowing this makes it very easy to work around, and youll see hes really quite easy. and if you work fast the 20 minute limit (if you dont have underwater materia) isnt hard to beat, i usually manage in around 10 minutes

Omega from 8. Had you not gotten the Holy Wars from the Gilgamesh card or missed the quest entirely, there's pretty much no way to survive Tetra Break, unless you can somehow block 15000/9999 damage.

I agree with this one; I've never really had much trouble with any of the weapons, but, then again, I almost never attempt any of them until I've completely maxed out all stats on all characters, so there's that too.

Then again, some of the optional bosses in Final Fantasy VI were fairly painful to deal with, simply because the game didn't offer as much flexibility as the other games mentioned.

They are all easy when you know what you're doing of course. If you don't use a guide at all, they can be quite tough.

There's always the Defend ability. I can easily beat him without using any invincibility items or skills because of that ability. However, he has a fixed pattern of attack, so unless you know that pattern, you're going to struggle (because you won't know when to use Defend).

If you know his pattern of attack, then the battle becomes much easier.

1. Lvl 5 Death (this is fine with Death junctioned to St. Def)
2. Meteor (it will do ~200 damage with good junctions)
3. Megido Flame (with 9999 HP, this puts all your characters at 1 HP, so you can unleash limit breaks)
4. Gravija (since you have 1HP, this does 0 damage, so you can unleash your limit breaks again)
5. Terra Break (Defend, no damage)
6. Ultima (~200 damage also, just use a Megalixir to heal before it)
7. Light Pillar (always kills a character no matter what, so a Phoenix Down will fix that)

Then you just rinse and repeat, and he's easy.

Regarding what I've bolded, a Ribbon would work just as well.

You need a PocketStation for that if I remember correctly.

Or the PC version of the game, which also comes with Chocobo World.

if you dont have final attack revive. Ruby weapon will simply kick your ass.

you could always cast KOTR and keep using mime to cast infinite ones but he may just use ultima on your ass
