It's because I had a friend who showed me the games. And this one was the most catchy for me. I bought it and tried it myself and it was just so much fun. I like the combination of the story and job system. I really found the story in this game good and I like how each character have their own unique skill set, so no one can be equal

6 then 4 then 7 then 10 then 5 then 8 then 1 then 9 then 12 then 3 then 2 then 10-2.

11 doesn't count.

10-2 doesnt count...neither does 11

Played all flavours of FF on all consoles (just missing Crisis Core, X-2 and XII due to the lack of console) and I loved VII with IV coming in a very close second and I third (this was my first game that I played on the NES).

Dang, i posted a thread like this one too. Doh!!!

Anyway, I posted FF8

I like all of them for certain.
FF7, just get to the Gilneka and start morphing them, and after along time of gaming, all your chars will have 255 Stats besides STr, there is another area (forgot name) where you morph this one monster that always appears to get your strength up to 255

FF8: Just superb, the monsters lvl @ the same time your char lvls up, no matter where you are. So, I completed the game with all my chars @ STARTing Level (you can achieve this)

FF9 same old, just got dissappointed with going back to old graphics because they wanted it out fast.

As for the rest, I liked the changes, graphics and all, story needed some changes, but still good to game.

The way to do FF8 without leveling up:
I have, finished it, only 1 monster that can not be beat in the game @ starting levels

The basic thing how i did this was easy.

First, when you get your GF (think it is that), and before you go to Dollet with Seifer.
You go down to the beach, and while there, just get attacked, figure out the Exact
number of hit's it takes before they die, then reset (make sure you save b4 going to
the beach).

So now when you go to beach, you just keep on taking on fights, but do not kill for
the xp, you have to card them just before the final blow. Keep doing this to get
AP up on GF.

Then after alot (long time) of killing, then head off to Dollett.
When you get there, keep Seifer Alive and kill off other 2.
Now you can level up Seifer to 99, while drawing cure-curaga, blizz-blizzaga etc
and transfer them to the other 3 chars.

This is awesome, and lvl8 your chars have Curaga/Blizzaga/Firaga. Then you are set
to complete the game with TOTAL ease.

Orr you can just play the game normally and beat it normally xD
