7 is the best 8 sucked cause you could have 9999 life at level 9 from absorbing curagas from enemies and yeah.. it was to imba.... thats why i didnt like but the story line was pretty good

9 then 7. Vivi and Red XIII.

6 was probably better in its time, 7 was only really liked that much, because it was the first game that had graphics that would draw fans, and the last game before the developers realized that good graphics meant they didn't have to have the best story line ever, tough call, but 6 and 7 are definately # 1 and #2, honourable mention award goes to tactics, for being the hardest, pick it up and play ff game. damn assassins on the roof
