From this list I would definitely say Cloud.

Zidane was an interesting character too.

I never really liked Cloud because of the fact that he was living a lie for such a long time during the game, and when I first played this game I was like "Oh man this guy is soo sick!" up until I found out he was trying to be Zack. As I grew older now, and playing the game over and over, I realize that it relates to life so much and that there's so many people who do this and need to learn to accept who they are, for a little while, myself included. Definitely have to go with Cloud on the best character.

Terra - Hard to determine which the real "main" character of ff6 is; Terra, Celes the two Generals who rebel against the imperial cause, or Locke; the master treasure hunter who help leads a rebellion.

Kain / Cecil - I'd consider Kain to be one of the best main characters of any Final Fantasy game, may not be 100% the main like Cecil but being a parallel lead role, and being one to "Fuck shit up" has one of the best roles by far, and sticks through FF history.

Zidane, spoke the least out of the characters available to choose.

Tidus for me. I feel I didn't vote for him solely on himself. It came from the months of enjoyment the game brought me and will always be my favorite.

It is a toss up between TEEdus and Zidane for me. I voted Tidus but I think I really meant Zidane. He was such a pervert I loved it!
