All you FFVIII fans, how come none of you posted the melody that gets stuck in your head for hours?
As far as the trip down memory lane went, especially hearing the FFIX and X music made me emo.

Memories that came up when hearing the various songs:
FFVIII
blue fields -> The moment you get off the train after the Timber missions and you're supposed to go to galbadia garden and you're walking towards the forest where you first encounter Laguna, Kiros and Ward. And thinking of Laguna just got me back at the start of disc 2 (IIRC) in Winhill. And to the swordfight with the red dragon.
Liberi fatali -> Edea at the end of disc one, where you see a cutscene and she turns and her viel wavers over the camera.
Balamb garden theme -> Save point in the main lobby next to the directions board and trying to card with the kid running around who has the minimog card. Quistus groupie #1 or #2 (the one in the back) with the Quistus card. Squall's date with Rinoa.
Compression of time -> Space
FFIX
the place I'll return to -> Watching the cutscene before the 'press start' screen because the music is just too good. Also the destruction of the Lifa tree.
Mystery Sword -> The traveling moogle at the end of disc 1 in the ruins, following the initiation of the fight vs beatrix seen at a weird angle.
Rose of May -> Beatrix teaming up with Steiner.
FRreya's Theme -> Monster hunt competition.
FFX
To Zanarkand -> How Tidus can't be with Yuna whereas they still try, mostly the cutscene in the pond where yuna dances a bit and then they kiss.
