imo, sephiroth is like the coolest ff villain i know

That's my most hated point of the game. When you have to read that god awfully long story in Kalm.

I always enjoyed it, it was dark, eerie and very interesting to see what actually happened. I loved the part on the ship where everything goes quiet then you find sephiroth and fight jenova, great times.

Not when you have beaten the game like 6 times. That shit is so annoying.

+ plus 4-5 other teams that u didnt finish.

I'd completed the escaping from mitgar to get to the world map part so many times i eventually saved like 20 files just outside on a memory card.

The fucking train graveyard still gives me boredom nightmares.

who all got omnislash at begining of disk two from getting the ribbon in the temple of the ancients? man 4 hours of basket ball hoops and another 2 hours getting battle arena points.

I just made sure i had Whitewind/Big guard and got break all on the final round for 10000 BP. Level 35 ish i think.

Most people didn't think about the FF series until 7 was released. Up until that point, the series was an afterthought compared to other RPGs ( the Secret of Mana, Breath of Fire, and Dragon Warrior series, as well as games like Chrono Trigger and Shining Force, saw far more love than FF). FF7 was the first 32-Bit era RPG to really capture audiences with great CGs, quality graphics, and a memorable soundtrack. With that being said, with hindsight, FF7 is overrated as an RPG. Of course, it is subjective, but to me IV, V, VI, VIII, IX, and Tactics have FAR better storylines. I will not hate on the game too much, as I enjoyed parts of it, but I find it hard to make it one of the top-3 RPGs of all time. That would put it ahead of Wild Arms, Xenogears, Chrono Cross/Trigger, Baldur's Gate, Vagrant Story, and other quality RPGs; I cannot see that.

I personally think FFVI has been the best game out of the series. The story was solid, the gameplay was amazing, and for when it came out on SNES it was top notch. Otherwise I personally liked tactics and ix.
