They wouldn't let him play with the big kids toy. The butterfly sword was cool as well. There were a lot of cool weapons in 7. It was the first time we could actually see a fully designed weapon vs a pixel jump in ff3/6.

Getting the last weapon on ff10 was a pain... I remember doing the chocobo race over 100 times. The last time I got to the end with negative time and got wacked by a balloon at the finishline

I was so upset.

i think theres a lot of cool weapons in all FF games.
but i agree, 7 was one of the last games that featured a ton of weapons.
8, 9, as well as 10 cut down the actual amount of weapons [i believe] although i personally like their choices to do so.

well it certainly looks a hell of a lot cooler when you have it in a real life look like this,
i liked a lot of the designs of ff10's weapon.
Aurons swords were all pretty cool. world champion was neat. everyone had a few neat weapons imo

ya i think i skipped them....but at least it wasn't like in 12 where you can miss the strongest weapon in the beginning if you open the wrong chests haha

Seph's Masamune... Can't get that wrong.

Ok so looking at ff13 weapons more in detail: Kain's Lance is pretty sexy looking weapon. Nirvana is great; very aeris like. Save the Queen, overall keep how they did the fist/claw weapons with variations on the trench coat print (save the queen appears as angel wings). Total Eclipse, well all the guns are the same just different color combination. Nue is still nasty.
