i find this to not be true. Most people love 7 but hate all the other se/pre quels of it. I think people love 7 because it was a changing of the series.

I however didn't care for 7 the first time through and have never tried to replay. imo Tactics was the funnest story line to follow. Plus i love the whole job system. imo one of the best things The ff series has is that system.

But since tactics isn't on this list it's kinda a tie for 6,8, 9 but i voted 9 cause that was my first FF game i ever played and will forever love it.

i think 7 was the best overall game in the serie when comparing characters, items and storyline, but 8 had aslo a compelling story somewhat...

8 was my favorite by far

it might have been because it was my first game that i played so that might had been it.

you are not the only one =p...while i agree that it was a very good game(for one playthrough which i havnt finished) it just is way overrated.
