FF7 was the last good FF title. I hate Advent children and anything else, they killed it and ruined the ending to a perfect game. What happened to not making sequels/prequels from that team? As soon as something got popular they whored it out. I guess thats life, though.

but i'd think i'd go with ff7 even though ff8 rapes it graphics wise, i still loved ff7 story line.

8 because I like the ability to customize and the simplicity yet fun of the card game owned. FF7 mini games annoyed me.

They both had good story lines, both had good gameplay.

It's hard to say what FF ISNT good, every final fantasy has a different way of leveling/customization and different storylines.

Final Fantasy 7 is the best by far, although FF3 and FF10 weren't all that bad, I also liked FF5 for my emulator ;D
