ff9 was by far my favorite

I liked 9 overall, enjoyed 8's triad game, enjoyed 7's end stuff

it's an awesome game although zidanes tail is a little weird....but awesome game overall

FF9 is one of my favorites. Great characters, storyline, music, and the overall world in the game is fun to explore.

Side Quests + Card game are great too. If you're an FF fan you'll love it.

is worth it , tho i wouldnt consider it as a great game

omg i love 9 its my favorite! best story line

and the chocobo system is pretty fun too one you find the island

i just started to replay this last week and with school and what not its a good game the fighting is kinda slow but not to slow u can do a lot of customizing ur char like with the abilities u can make zidane pure thief dagger with pure healing etc the storyline is good god i hate that fag kuja i am on disc 3 ull want to try the chocbo hot and cold as soon as u can to find some treasures i am currently going to olievert then going to do some serous lvling/skill learning only lvl like 33 i think so yea lada

FFIX is either my favorite or second favorite behind X. Just look at my name ^^

If you like old school FF, FFIX is a return to that style of story and setting. I never thought that the game was slow as the OP said. I mean, FFVIII was slow, not this game! The final boss is arguably one of the fastest to beat too (at least for me).

The fighting is slow compared to most other FF games, but if you put the Battle Speed to the maximum, it really isn't that noticable. It hasn't affected my enjoyment of the game one bit in all the times I've played it.

In terms of the story, it isn't slow at all. The story picks up quickly after Alexandria, and especially after Lindblum, and it's pretty much non-stop from there on. It may be a tiny bit slow right at the start in Alexandria, when you're walking around with Vivi, but it's just setting the scene then, and it's such a small part of the game anyway.
