Lol what are you, another 12 year old FF7 fanboy? It's a good game but all of the characters are basically the same sans limit breaks, which aren't even that useful. You can beat the game at like level 5 thanks to Materia being way overpowered and abundant, with no limitations. The characters are all bland shells, each one can become an unstoppable god that can solo any boss. FF6 had a much better system with unique characters, FF5 had a very open and customizable system but said system is abusable, FF8's system was a pain in the ass, but unique at least, it takes FF6's and makes it more complex rather than taking FF6's and making it retardedly easy like FF7 did.

It's an overrated game if you really look at it. Still great, but not nearly the best thing ever. It's just the first RPG most of the current generation of kids played, and therefore the most memorable. I started with FF1 on the NES, and have beaten just about every RPG on the SNES system and most on PS1-PS2. There are better games out there. FF7 certainly has some good points, but if you honestly think that the skill / magic system in it was one of them, you're an idiot, and there is little hope for you. Quit being a fanboy and develop some opinions of your own, using your brain, not your Sephiroth loving trouser snake.

FF8 = gay/emo
FF10 = bitch game can actually beat at lvl 30
FF5 = boring and skill system too similar to FF12 which was not a favorite of mine, buying skills = gay

FF7 = best game to come out of thwe series besdies FFTactics

Materia wasn't overpowered, you actually had to level it which took a good while. And the only way to beat the game at such a low lv would be to get KOTR which would still take a good deal of gameplay since you have to breed to Gold on Chocobos.

And when did i say taht FF7 was my favorite retard? Easily the Best and most varying system of development was FF Tactics dumbshit, please learn to read

I take into account greatly the battle and more importantly skill development portion of these games, it seems that most of them had genuinely good story lines (though some were better than others ofc). what i think makes and breaks a game is the battle/skill development portion of the game.

I highly rate:
FF6/3
FF7
FF9
FF10-2 (even though the gameplay wasnt as good as FF10)
FF Tactics

I lowly rate:
FF1
FF8
FF12(The battle system is good but buying skills? nty)

My favorite though has to be FF Tactics just because of the amount of thought that went into the Skill allocation with JP/XP for lvling

dont get me wrong i love the game, but HOW THE F$#@! is ff6/3 at the top of your list, isn't this list for skill systems? ff6 has no skill developement everyone puts on an esper and learns all magic. plus each char gets 1 extremely limited ability (no customization possible on any of those skills either). its my favorite ff game,

but favorite skill system? throw on that genji glove and an offering! this is about to get complicated....

i know you'll probably flame me for this and state how im a horrible newb and im wrong, but im not trying to attack you, i just think ff6 was near the top of your list because its ff6 and you love it, not because it belongs there.

Only played ff1-ff10/10 part 2 (completing them all) Id have to say ff10 and ff7 wining.

The grid in ff10 was nice I think and it ment you can easly turn a char to a diffrent type (from what I remember).ff7 materia was just awesome for lack of words biggrin.gif

If any one votes for ff8 go die please! smile.gif

Then why should FF7 be there? FF7 is materia, which is just like espers, only retardedly simple and overpoweed. All the characters are exactly the same, and only some limit breaks are useful.

Learning magic from items slowly, magic points from killing enemies, espers teaching, espers having their own summon like attacks, Terra and Celes learning magic through leveling without espers needed, espers giving stat bonuses upon level up.. FF6's system is MUCH more complex and much better than FF7's, so it belongs up there.
