If you were able to get that far that means you can play. I think you should take the chance and retry.

If you are getting that it has to do with a recent Windows Update Patch. Google it, I think the resolution is to reboot your computer.

I did not play phase 3 / 1.0 / other phase things.. I did however play the alpha of the old ffxiv for like 10 minutes. People said I should not be able to play though so I am not sure.......

Did you activate a code to your account though for any of the phases? If so it will let you play, also if you could get to the character screen, that means you can pretty much play.

no. I did not even think of FFXIV till a few days ago. I loaded another client while still in game as JP and got to char screen to create char then saw NA servers chose class but then lobby error. Then reloaded 2nd client again no NA list then lobby error. Then reloaded 2nd client a 3rd time now I cant press start lol

Anyone had a greyed out start button eventually light up..? I loaded 2nd client a 4th time still greyed out

Edit: Argh it was loading and then put me in queue saying the world was full. -.- Well at least I'm in an actual queue now.

just made my char on NA hopefully it lets me in while I am still in JP server lol.. made my char in leviathin or whatever
