The whole point of the new game and director/staff is that it looks/plays nothing like 1.0. So, where you're getting this "1.0 same rate" nonsense, is beyond me. If you have played the Beta AND 1.0, you'd notice a HUGE difference.

6 years between expansion packs, one of the failure devs of the original ffxiv at the helm, the last xpac not being available on ps2 outside of japan, played on a system that is 2 generations out of date and im not sure there even able to develop for anymore.

Alive and kicking seems a bit to vigorous to describe ffxi in its current shape.

I kinda ment on the subscription / having players still. I would say the game stop being some what fun after 75 cap was increased, but non the less, many people still play.
