:D

I really dont think you'll be disappointed at all. Only thing I didnt like about it was the card game. I LOVED FF8's card game...I'd spend DAYS just playing cards.....but not on FF9 haha.

I liked Tetra Master(FF9 card game), they actually included it with FFXI, and I played that more than I did FFXI at first.

So I finally got around watching Advent Children...

It was pretty entertaining, much better than most movies based on videogames, but still not far beyond entertaining. The quality of the animation is amazing and it's nice to see the FFVII universe in such quality and the story is ok, but it gets a bit too action packed at some parts for my taste. I also like the fact it's targeted to the game's fanbase, it's nice to see they kept much of the original soundtrack and threw in a good amount of references to the game. So, in conclusion, I found it enjoyable... I enjoyed it more than any other thing that's come out of Square Enix

:( My mom and I went to see Spirits Within when I was like 10 so I think that memory alone is a good reason why I own it and frequently watch it. Are you into anime? If so, Legend of the Crystals is worth trying.

Since it's only a 4 episode anime I decided to tackle Legend of the Crystals. It's alright... the animation is cheap and it has that early 90's anime kind of out dated atmosphere that became so popular after Toriyama's Dr.Slump and Dragon Ball (it's kind of like watching a filler episode of these), but it's still entertaining. Since it's based on the FFV universe I expected/was hoping, it would have more of a connection with the original game, so that kinda let me down... but at least the opening song and some other themes were used, so that was nice.

I also watched two other FFVII animes, one was Last Order, which just tells us about the Nibelheim incidents (for the millionth time lol). And the other one was "Denzel, on the way to a smile", which is the story of Denzel from Advent Children. This one's definetely my favourite FF OVA... it doesn't have much to do with FF, but it's a good story, sad and touching.

On another topic, I realized the Advent Childre I saw was the complete version released 2 years ago with improved animations and more footage
