If anyone ever endorsed it to me, I would be more inclined to try it, sir. You know that if I "try" this game, I could end up with 200+ hour games. lol btw, reason I havent been posting in my FFT thread is b/c atm I am lvling my Summons on FFX. Think im only @ 81 hours on my FFX masterpiece game.

This is very true. I LOVED FF9 its an amazing game and an amazing story. I vote he gives it a try.

srsly sat up last night, thinking about this. I know nothing of the story or the characters. I know that the FFT ripoff wizard Vivi is in it, and there is a knight named, Steiner maybe, and the Zidane character. I know what they look like, and that is where my knowledge of that game ends. I am starting to get that urge take on another world.

I think you shouldnt do any research on the plot or anything. Go into it blind. Its an amazing plot with a good mix of humor and emotion. I mean I literally have nothing bad to say about the game at all.

Why you would jump into a friendly, healthy conversation and say some troll garbage like that is beyond me. You play Final Fantasies, you're lurking a Final Fantasy sub-forum, what a shitty life you live.



This. We could sit here and give you a heads up on the game and what to expect, but that's just no fun. IX's world is awesome, the villains are awesome, it brought back the idea of the "fixed role," has a myriad of sidequests (all of which are worthwhile in my opinion), yada yada. Of course we can't make you enjoy a game, but I see no reason why you would dislike it or be unable to play it 'til the end.

settled, I will begin the journey in FF IX within this month. I appreciate the retaliation on my behalf Andross lol. But on that note, I do sit and ponder a new game to envolve myself in, usually for weeks as I do mondane tasks in other games. I don't expect FFIX to be the best game I ever sit down for, as long as it holds up to square's standard, I'm sure I will enjoy it. I mean I found joy in the Brawler on PS2, if that tells you anything about my loyalty to Squaresoft.

I do the same I'll sit and think over playing a new game for a while too.
