There's a good point. After 9 I missed the Open World Map travelling. 10 "streamlined" it by making every area part of the world map, lame. FF9 had just as many if not more non-world map locations to explore on top of the open world map.

7 was peak for me, absolutely epic game. 8 wasn't bad either, especially because of the hype that 7 generated. Some of the earlier ones were classics and revolutionary in their own right. 9 was a letdown because of the games it was trying to surpass (and didn't come close to touching). X was a step up from IX, but nothing extraordinary. Never played XI, XII was pathetic, and XIII was even worse.

If they JUST remade 7 or 8, with better graphics and maybe slightly different twists, i would buy them in a heartbeat.

9 was an amazing game, 9 > 8 in every single way. X only had a few problems, one being that the fucking map told you where to go, the second being the save points healing you being everywhere.

X2 really was a joke. Got 5 hours in and never played it again.

My biggest gripe with the games is how easy they've made them. They weren't exactly hard before so i struggle to see why you need to give them a map pointing where to go, save points everywhere and way to many items.

XIII was a failure on so many levels. If Versus is anything like XIII god help SE. I will see bankrupt in the future.
