try that tower on the fifth floor. you gain 6000 experience and 6000 gil in 1 battle. and the mission marker is just 5 seconds away from the monster. later when you gain gil faster and xp faster it is not worth it. but in the start it is a good way to gain great money and xp at once. i dont know why but i find the death spell kinda cheap o.O

Well, i've been grinding the green neochu while i wait to be able to kill the red one.

I can farm medium turtle but only with Death luck, since i can't survive the attack he does, yet.

So i'm pretty much killing the turtle with summon and death and then i got farm the green neochu for PT, back and forth.

Hoping to survive soon :P.

since you are using your summon try this

Sab syn sab

vanille \ sazh \ fang

cast death, sazh casts haste on you, death again, then summon, press select,

then spam death till your summon goes away (no cutscene \ summons final attack that you cant skip)
then just keep spamming death

also for getting TP to kill him again, farm the...i forget their names but they are on the ground and have wings SouthWest corner of the map
(weird things protecting the treasure boxes down there)
you ALWAYS get pre-emptives on them, makes for fast fights
(run between first group coming in, the the one in the middle with 2 on top of the rock, just have to run back and forth and its ALWAYS a pre-emptive unless you run at their faces)
i use com \ rav \ com
lightning hope fang

they seem to be weak to physical attacks

also use an energy sash \ 2 str accessories on your main char

i get 23k points each battle (higher the points higher the TP gain + fast kills and energy sash = tp fills up faster)
another reason i do that is i like to ride the chocobo back from there and do a little bit of treasure hunting, i save \ reload after i kill the adamantoise
a third reason i go there, is that i am a minimalist and more+faster battles = more torm \ smooth leather to upgrade with, and more Sols
(i use a collectors + survivalist + other Catalog = imp chances of rare + reg + Sol-shroud loots)
aegis \ forti \ decepti (i have NOT got an ethersol yet, anyone know a place to farm them? or is there only a specific # in the game to be looted?)

also save before you kill the adamantoise, and reload if he doesnt drop anything,
T3 weapons cost A LOT to upgrade.
you will need a lot of platinum ingots to do it for everyone
(a bit over 2m gil and i could only max out 2 peoples T3 weapons, so im assuming 7m plus or minus in the end)
this is with a x3 bonus and the 50k gil items (tired atm cbf to load ffxiii and find the name r&d depot though)

another plus is farming the ingots for the gil, means you dont need to buy the 2.2m traps from the depot shop,
so you are saving gil, and making gil at the same time, by doing adamantoise.

ooh and
upgrade a belladona rod into a marlboro wand for improoved debuffing...
sure it might of been a streak of bad luck, but i forgot to switch from her healing staff once, and i could NOT kill the thing
10+ retries using summon \ spam death method, i get more than 20 deaths a go.

weird small things with wings on the ground btw, do NOT fly
cant remember their name for the life of me lol, just where my spots located - easy access to a chocobo and other reasons stated above

set up a paradigm of med/sen/sab with you controlling vanille and go get the growth egg

just spam death while snow defends and hope heals, you will probably get killed by its pollen attack or whatever but just keep reloading till you get it

now if you havent beaten the game yet then i suggest you go to the room right before the end boss with the 3 mini-boss fights which will get you about 64,000 each

if you have then i would go to the mines and grind on the ice bombs, theres a spot in the mines with 3 fights in close proximity and they respawn just by walking between them, they are fast kills and give very good cp
