no they didnt... people just imagine they did because they liked the game so much. every ff changes

@skrew: FF-typical stuff is just missing, you dont need a brain to play ff xiii - it's so damned easy, and you can complete the story and all optional missions within 70 hours and less (remind you FF VII took like 300-400(without cheating or guides), X like 200)

- no optional uber mega hyper endboss (^^, such as the judge/ultima(or was it omega?) weapon/yadis a.s.o.) - theese 64 missions are nothing compared to them
- no towns/NPCs to talk with to get optional stuff a.s.o. (wtf?)
- couldnt be more linear tbh (what FF was THAT liar please? there is like nothing to do at your own, missions are already allocated)
- nothing to riddle, usally you needed to think abit (sometimes alot even) to get better stuff or reach another area (remind you for FF IX ultima-sword/weapon, the time you need to find it w/o guides you could complete XIII like 3 times with all stuff)
- skillsystem is the worst shit aswell, you can't be creative or use it as you like - you have to take what you get - couldnt be more liniar neither
- espers are a joke, every character has one(?!) and the classic ones are missing even (such as ifrit)
- no minigames (ok, dont really care but was always(?!) a part from ff)
- weapons ... no words for this, doesnt really matter what weapon you're useing (okay "some(1)" stats on weapon - but they are actually horribad)
- only 1 char to control (see nxt)
- FF XIII is just pressing "A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-LB-A-A-A-LB-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-LB-A-A-A-LB-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-LB-A-A-A-LB-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A-LB-A-A-A-LB" - you dont need to use your brain as already mentioned (okay in old FF series you just pressed "A" aswell on cummon monsters, but vs strong ones you needed to do abit more), guess what? when you call a esper it's the same just without "LB"
- you have exactly 3 stats - Life - Attack - Magic, Awesome !

what else to mention....? oh wait - there is nothing else in this game (i'm sure there are more bad things to add, alot even - but it's for sure not a real FF)


the only thing i like on FF are the characters and the typical FF-feeling (regarding cutscenes and story + grafics)

X-II was already abit weird, but it deserved the FF tag - and was pretty nice actually (if you ignore the gay parts


the fact this game "Final Fantasy XIII" has "Final Fantasy" in name is just a shame

I stopped reading right there.

All Weapons beat, three sets of master materia (3x master magic, 3x master summon...), all chars lv 99, all ultimate weapons.....all done in 94 hours.

i was talking about all the ff7 crap that came out

and the golden chocobo aswell? to get all bestias? i seriously doubt it - i said without guides

How can you get 3x master summon without mastering KotR? How can you get KotR without the gold chocobo. Running around breeding chocobos for 100 hours HOPING you get the right ones is just stupid. Yes I looked up how to breed them.

Im not saying FF7 isnt a great game....its my personal favorite but theres no more than 120-140 hours of gameplay tops.

I got back on wow to do the noble garden shit since Im trying to get all the holiday stuff done. Now Im trying to figure out if I want to have a pvp char because I dont want to put the time into raiding....I might just give up on that too lol. Fuck wow too time consuming.

Im PS3 all the way. At the start of ch 12.....been out of town, and back on wow recently but hopefully this weekend I'll be close to beating FF13.
