FF is not a game that you can just rent, you have to finish it.

Where I work, you rent a game 5 nights for $7 not including my discount with a guarantee to work.

To achieve $100 you'll be renting it for 14 sessions, which is 70 days or 10 weeks. At most, it would take me 2 sessions to beat it if I take it slow as there are no minigames/sidequests to get enthralled in. You'd be saving a tremendous amount of money renting it instead of buying it.
