I forgot what it was called because I only briefly played the Jap version, but you can set each characters class so to say as ranged, heal, bomb, etc.,
So that you can have the main char as an attacker and 2 other as support BUT in mid battle you can switch it up and change your main to support and start attacking with the other 2.

I just hope I get it pre-streeted. I missed almost all of the major pre-streets (I missed ODST and BS2, though I did nail ME2 and DI). If so, I could very well have it beaten before it even comes out.

Like I said I only briefly played it and it was also in Japenese, in which I don't understand at all.

Whatever it was it was cool. Although the TC is sounding like a hater, he will still probably buy/rent it and enjoy it.

already reserved mine even though there are some things i dont like about the game. ill still enjoy it

I played it.. I hated it. But then again I hated FF12, too. And FF10 would've been lame if it wasn't for Lulu or Auron.
If I sound like a hater, IDC. But enjoy wasting your money.

I wouldn't be wasting my money because I already played the Japanese version and enjoyed that, and I barley understood anything at all. :)

I hardly think it is fair to write off the entire game because of Optima Change as oppose to direct control of every single char.

The Final Fantasy franchise is all about redefining classic rpg style. I am sure when VII was released with ATB people were griping but it didn't stop the game from becoming a legend.

I already said why i didnt like it. The characters are lame, the stories bad, and the idea of summons Transforming into hotrods and random vehicles made me want to slit my wrists.Sure, the gfx are good. . but i could just go outside and see better.
