IX is pretty good, and VIII utter garbage, even for a random game you expect nothing from.

But as you knew everyone would say as you started the thread, VII is the best one..

I actually liked ffv more than ffvi. My all time favorite has to be ffvii. the first real rpg that i got into....too bad ffviii was so bad (IMO). i was almost turned away from the series at that point. btw final fantasy adventure and ff legend are not part of the final fantasy series, they just share the name if that make any sense.
