you really can't ask that question, everyone has their different opinion on ff games.
start at the earliest one that you'll play and go from their.
i would start at ff 6 or 7 personally.

In terms of character dev., battle system, etc. FF6 is probably the most even ground between the first FFs and VII onwards. Start with 6, for sure. I'm replaying it right now.

This And FF7 to start. There's a reason it's still top 10.

its nothing spectacular

ff7 is without a doubt the most favourited.

you can dl ff7 off psn for your ps3 for 10 dollars. would be hard to find instores



except that is has one of the most indepth and bizzare story lines ever.
if you dont agree then you clearly didnt understand most of the game at all and just did what needed to be done next.

ive played 1-10 (litterally 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10)

but 7 is still my favourite.

4/6/8/10 are all really good too (theyre all good but those stand out more. dont start your ff gaming with 12 or 11 as they are nothing like 1-10)



agreed, ff4 is my second favorite final fantasy
and ff1 is my 3rd.
ff8 probably being my 3rd
ff6 being 4th

ff7 is actually a really good one to get into because the materia system is rather simple, just gotta make sure you dont equip useless materia and unessecary amounts of them.

ff4 would probably be the best to get into. it gives a good story line with good characters and the battle system is really simple and will give a nice idea on how the rest of the final fantasies work, and the difficulty doesnt jump around as much as the previous ones that are similar in gameplay (1-3)

ff6 becomes a littele more advanced and then ff7 is a take off of the ff6 battle system.

imho

do ff4 first. then ff7, then if you liked ff4, you should try ff6, or if you liked ff7 more jump into 8/9/10

Storyline was bizzare because it was just utter garbage majority of the time
a wannabe tough guy whos actually an insecure emotional crybaby teenager against a monster generated from an alien

doesnt do it for me , found it boring dull and most of the time too predictable
FFVII was a good game because of its groundbreaking graphics at the time and its great battle system

Not to mention Square have totally fucked FFVII over by making all these horrid prequels/sequels

it was the only ff game worth making prequals and sequals for(some good some bad)
the movie = good and was a good idea to make it too. it was very anticipated
dirge of cerberus = bad, it was kinda fun, but such a random idea and the whole game was bad

and then theres the crises game that people have hteir own opinions on

and the story line is he suffered from amnesia from the attempt to turn into a sephiroth clone and took on the roll of zack and rememberd important events as zack, when really he was just there to witness it, but also remembers insignificant events as cloud. which made life confusing for him, for nothing in his life would add up and cause him to breakdown (think if somthing like that actually happened, ofc you'd be fucked up). but all he knows is that his hero sephiroth ended up messing his whole life up and goes after him.

if thats not fucked up and interesting then idk what is...
