Final Fantasy 7 the best , I'm absolutely certain of that.

i like ff8 couse it's harder to get ALL things...than on ff7....7 is too eZ...

FF7 by a long shot.

ff7 is best ff out there no questions asked.

8 was a really good game. 9 was good too. so was 10. (i didnt care for 11 or 12)

and ive played 1-7 as well (litterally 1,2,3,4,5,6,7)

7 is my favorute
4 is my 2nd
8 is probably my 3rd or 4th(ff1 would be competitor for 3rd)

i hated FF8...didnt appeal to me. my favs were in this order-7, 9 (amazing game..idk why it just was!) 10, then 12

omg, FF VII was the best, hands down.. Childhood memories. And CHOCOBO'S - Breeding them was the bomb. and finally getting a golden one was like.. AMAZING.. half the fun of the game!
FF VIII starting boring but it got better. no way near as good as FF VII tho!

ff7 > ff9 > ff10 = ff12 > ff8 ... thats all ive played
