ff12? storyline?
eh
it sucked balls imo

This.

The ff12 story line failed. It had no real surprises in my opinion. The story can be summed up so quickly and was too blunt: " i don't want to go to war because i'll lose.. i need a weapon to protect my people"

The last boss died so quickly and easily, he did look cool at all, the last video earned about a 5/10 on my scale.

the LIMIT BREAKS, FAMOUS in the serious, its one of their greatest parts of the game. There were only 2 that looked worth a fuck, and the idea of chaining was pure fail because the chain moves were all the same with different colors, c'mon.

I also think the battle system was very boring.... Gambits made it waaay too automatic, i didn't even have to hold the controller often times.

FF10 on the other hand... well great story, with a twist or 3 and what not. The final video was great and worthwhile. I do have to admit, i wish they wouldn't have made Tidus such a pussy, he didn't have to be a badass or anything but sheesh

A typical ffXii 100% - 80-90 hours
FFX 100% - 100-200 hours, depending on how nice blitzball is to you for Wakka's world champion.

12's storyline could've greatly expanded on the individual Hunt's backstories. Maybe FMVs for the highest marks would've done the trick.

10 features the most annoying sidequest ever, the lightning dodge. Few moments in games have made me throw a controller across the room.
As for auto-win, think of a maxed Yuna with only the Three Sisters. Instant KO.

I dont get where anybody can say the FFXII story line even come close to the FFX story line. FFX Dominated FFXII in pretty much every single aspect of game play and storyline.. not even a question. oh also i work for square-enix and i was on the FFXII project and not the FFX lol do i fail?

thats funny because both of my save datas are about that.
Thoughhhhhhhh
Ffx when i first bought it [i bought ps2, that game + controller] forgot memory card so i had to leave it on for like 30 hours before i finally bought a card. i have like 111 hours on my game. ^^
and ff12 i got 86 hours but i also spent like 40 hours doing Auto-levels. 4 hours of it, contributed to Yiazmat or w.e that sob.
at first you think itll go down easy but after he hits 50% its like 3 and a half hours,

I think they were even but i gave the win to 12, because i like chaotic items vs chaotic monsters.

Final Fantasy 10 wins by a mile.

The Storyline, Life span, soundtracks, Graphics etc... FF10 was EPIC.

Both superb games IMO.
12 edges it due to the fact it kept me playing longer .
Some good side quests and the fact the best weapons weren't practically handed to you like on previous games.

Although FFX's soundtrack was epic.
