Going to be for PS3 first, then they start doing the 360 one. So i don't really care pretty much since I have both systems.

There is only 1 ff13 going on 360
ff13versus is gonna be only on ps3 btw
so if you dont buy a ps3
no FF 13 Versus wich looks awsome

Marketingwise, it could be a smart move if they are planning ahead.
if they put this game on the 360 (what majority of people have) it will have many more people play it this time around, than the ps3 (not many have a ps3, due to the low games, etc)

Then Sony comes back in the next 2--5 years for Final fantasy 14, and keeps that exclusive, at this point, Ps3 would be more common, and may even convert some previous xbox owners to buying one.

This is the first game out for another console... - Final Fantasy 11 is excluded ( This games does not belong in the Final Fantasy Genre >.< )

Makes me sick that you think your some sort of 'know-it-all'.

Firstly, this has been quite common trend lately (has happened with a good few other games: GTA IV and Tekken 6 to name two).

Secondly, something similar has happened before (FFVII going to the PlayStation instead of the N64). Although, that was under different circumstances (it was due to the limitations of N64 cartridges rather than wanting to sell more copies).

Thirdly, there are a lot of 360 owners, so there's a lot of money to be made.

I didn't really expect this myself, but I can see why people might've expected it with all the other games going multiplatform.

Voted "Didn't expect this but still great!" as I'm a 360 owner and an FF fan.
