Yes buy the PS2.

Get FFX, FFXII, Dragon Quest VIII, Dark Cloud 2, God of War, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3....The list goes on.

PS2 was a WONDERFUL system and well worth it.

Yeah I would reccomend it, the ffx is worth playing on the ps2 alone however there are a lot more fun games also. By square-soft there are Kingdom Hearts, Dirge of Cerebrus, Grandia and then there are also good shooting games like Metal Gear Solid and a awesome racing - Gran Turismo

Dirge of Cerebrus doesnt even come remotely CLOSE to being anywhere as good as FFX....
