In theory there should be virtually no issues left in open beta... they've done extensive testing in phase 1/2/3 and of course if you count the beta for 1.0 and 1.0 ITSELF too that's a shitload of testing.

Server load testing with the transfers complete, fishing, and Arcanist will be the primary things left to be tested. Which does seem a decent bit tbh, although I'm thinking a lot of internal testing has been done on those as well.

I decided I'm going to play a dragoon or monk.

My favorite job in 1.0 was probably Warrior, followed by Monk.

From testing in the beta, I'll probably end up liking them just as well.

That said, I already have all 50s (aside from Arcanist -> Sch/Sum). I actively played every job at end game in 1.0, and find it very rewarding to do so.

Conjurer/White Mage. At an early age I was stuck with the support/healer classes because none of my friends wanted to play them and eventually grew to have a strong appreciation for the healer class. I also want to craft/gather a lot as well.

I have heard people should try to unlock guildleves during the open beta thing because between the open testing to launch you possibly will still be accumulating leves (3 every 12 hours). Another thing is to rest in sanctuaries/inns for rested exp or something. I just decided to play recently and have not read much but not sure what this stuff really even means but earning stuff while game is down sounds good to me :/

When you say new client.. do you mean the full complete download? I downloaded a launcher thing yesterday but it does not download the game yet.

As long as they don't somehow "pause" the servers in-game time our characters should accumulate leves and we should accumulate experience.
