Dark matters for BDL? What a waste. Should have made Ribbon on an armor.

My tidus armor looks like this atm:
Auto-phoenix
Auto-haste
<empty>
<empty>

Getting 30 wings to discovery atm for Break HP limit, then getting another about 40 dark matters (overkilling pteryx is quite a fast way to farm these, although it's a rare drop) to put ribbon on it. After that, I'll capture 5 of every creature and put Ribbon on wakka's armor which has Auto-Phoenix atm.

I was hoping to find something like this, I just started playing the original FF the other day, the mechanics of the game really add to the difficulty (attempts to attack monsters that are already defeated) been checking some advice on the web but anyone here have any insight about this game?

i have ribbon on all my partys armor. cant remember actually what i had o.O so long time ago lol xD something like. auto-haste, auto-protect, break-hp-limit, ribbon. i may be wrong heh.
but break damage limit is not a waste dude. its just something else you can do to get stronger o.O you can get infinite dark matters, so why not use them on something that makes you better

i just started playing ff7 about a week ago. got all the way throught the first disc to find out that the 2nd disc wont load up.. :/. tried about everything to get the 2nd disc to load up but it wouldnt work. had to order ff7 again through amazon

Im doing ff8 atm just got into disc 2 ah love the cd 1 ending (will do 12 again after)

break damage limit is for the weapon so its not a waste.
you can make the best magic weapon for a caster like lulu
1 mp cost
magic booster
20%more magic
break damage limit

this weapon makes the penance battle a bit easier

and yea the armor you use with auto phoenix and auto potion is better than the break hp limit one.
but
ive always thought that items in ffx were kind of lame. you will not have infinit phoenix downs. so you could actually not beat penance if he had maybe 100mil hp. but with my tactic you could beat him no matter how much hp he has.
thats why i think items are lame.

so the armor would be
auto protect
auto haste
break hp limit
ribbon

the celestial weapon is the best for attack or quick hit damage. but it costs really much mana.
so a customized weapon is really helpful
but against penance you dont do so much damage. so its useless
but if you have 1 caster with 255 magic and that caster weapon i showed you before. then you will be able to do more damage if both of penances hands are up. just use doublecast and ultima.
the battle will be longer. but its actually an easier battle turnwis

with the armor i showed you, you should have 99999 hp full life that costs 2 mp with heal 99999 hp which is enough o.O the only problem in the fight is when you run out of mp. in his second state he has an attack that drains all ur mana. and without items this battle will be really hard the only choice is ozmose-ultima. 2 of those caster will maybe be the only possible way for a win against him without items.
wakka with his celestial weapon and then overdrive his arms


im gonna try and download codebreaker and then use the no limit cheat xD i think auron will be able to deal 20mil damage lol xD
