I'm still trying to fill the board so I can literally max out all my stats by getting spheres from the monster arena. I've hit quite the brick wall with the Dark Aeons because I have about 60-70 dark matters which I would like to get to 99 before I do the monster arena 'achievement' that gives me 99 dark matters. Could really use that free ribbon.

are you farming Don Tomberri? it will help you clear the grid in no time.

You must catch 10 of each monsters first so that the guy at the arena sells you Clear Spheres, then use them to delete all +1 and +2 stat nodes on the grid and replace them with +4 stat nodes using spheres you get by farming certain arena monsters. Covering the grid is relatively quick by farming Don Tomberri with weapons with the experience combo, iirc you get like 70 grid points after every battle, the annoying part is farming for Ribbons and Luck and Fortune Spheres. The easiest and quickest way to get Ribbon is to farm Dark Yojimbo for Dark Matter (instead of beating him the 5 times to kill him, beat him 4 times and save and reload so that you can fight him 5 times again), but you will need Max Stats before you do.
