i would say FF7 is superior in gameplay and storyline not only to FF8 but over most rpgs ive ever played. FF7 is not the best graphical game there is, neither is d2...but still those 2 games kick ass for my part. i simply love all the sub quests and espacially the material stones that could gain experience, duplicating into other new babystones..... i mean that must have been the coolest moment in my gamelife...those moments when i found mimic or ww or mega or some kick ass rare material stone in FF7!! we are talking 12 years ago... ah why cant they make games like that, incorporating those material stones into a new rpg game. I like all final fantasy games, (not so much x and x-2) ive played em all, 1 to 12 + dirges, all great games but 7 rocks the most in orginality and story:)
