Final Fantasy has always been a Romantic Epic

Thats a pretty good formula from a story line standpoint.
I think FF12 tried so hard being original it wound up being a generic carbon copy of a final fantasy.

I pretty much liked the stories in all the Final Fantasy games apart from FFXII. The main reason I didn't like FFXII's story was that they threw so many sidequests at me throughout the game that I ended up doing them for hours and hours and then after I had finished them, I had completely forgotten where in the story I was (80 hours play time without really being near the end of the story).

My favourite story would probably be FF8 since all the characters developed really well throughout the game and they all seemed likeable. The game also dealt with the character's emotions well; and it sort of brought the characters to life. Also, I like the fact that the game leaves some loose ends, some things for you to think about. E.g. is Laguna Squall's father? Who exactly is Ultimecia (are her and Rinoa the same person)?

On the topic of Zozo's theme, don't you think it sounds a bit like FF8's Triple Triad theme?

Almost all the final fantasies had gr8 teary storylines obviously since the makers were japanese and if u mangas and animes like me then ull notice that the best are the saddest.
