jap III & II were weird @_@ fun, but i dont think id take the time to play them again.

i could never really get into 10 tbh. the voice acting drove me insane. i didnt bother with 12, and 13 has too many cutscenes for my liking, @_@ its almost like a movie.

i just liked ff better when it was squaresoft

I have, but I just don't understand the love that 4 gets. The story is incredibly basic (and gets pretty stupid towards the end), the character development system (or lack thereof) is rubbish, there are nearly no sidequests to speak of, and so on. I'd rather play 5 because of the SSS job system if I'm being honest.

I have only played the SNES version though. I have heard that the DS version is massively improved, so maybe that's why it gets so much love.

I do agree that 6 is amazing though, even if it didn't quite make my top 3.

As for 13, I haven't played it yet, so I can't comment on it.

ive only played the snes version and its my second favorite. i agree its very basic and straight forward, but i just love the characters and alot of the scenarios in the game.

i just simply enjoyed playing it more than most other ff's.

I liked 12 too I felt like it was under-appreciated, I think it took 10's formula of no world map travel but expanded upon it. And it had a fresh fighting system I suppose similar to ff11 (Idk I never played 11)
