8 was good, I have to agree with that. It was the last true good one they released, seeing your profile, if it's accurate, you're 4 years older than me. 3-4 years anyways as my birthday is practically at the start of the year (2 days, 2 hours and i'll be 21, woohoo). Your view is still biased in my opinion though, as you started playing the later ones with better graphics first.

Just about everyone who started playing them from the very first one, even counting in the Legends, agrees that (3)/6 is the best one. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions, it just makes me sad how most people these days can't appreciate the true classic games because their graphics aren't up to date.

It's like this 1 million other people say yes. So you know what that makes your opinion? Well I'll tell you it's 100% worthless. By the way I like ff8 over 7.

1 million other people have only played FF7 and maybe 5-10 other RPGs completely, and those other RPGs are like.. FF8, FF9, FF10, FF10-2, and FF12. As someone who has beaten at least 50 if not more, upwards of 100 or so RPG's maybe, i've lost count.. my critical opinion is much more valid.

The guys on Pitchfork aren't like. Yeah i've heard Nirvana and Linkin Park so I know what's the best. I'm not saying that people who like FF7 are wrong, they just haven't played enough other games to know any better, and I don't blame them. So for them it's just much easier to just go with popular opinion and say it's the best.
