You didn't just consider Chrono Trigger to be the best Final Fantasy did you?

favourite was 9,because of great music and low level challenge,probably close call with 12,only one i disliked was 13,battle system horrible,sometimes teamates doing things i didn't want causing game over screen

x was definetly the best. Best story line in the history of ff.

7...then a tie between 1/4/6/8/9/10, and then 2/3/5, then 13.

almost all final fantasys are very good. all quite unique. however the only one i didnt care for was 13.

people that dislike ff7, usually dont actually dislike the game, they just dislike the favoritism towards it and it kind of drives them to dislike the game. of course its not everyones favorite, but it is quite a stretch to say it sucks.

ff7 is my all around favorite, simply the events and novelty of the situations made this game very addicting and ive played it 10x over just because i love the nostalgia. played it when it first came out and still have an active file today.
ff4 has my favorite characters.
ff8 has my favorite battle/magic system
ff6 has my favorite music
ff1 i loved simply because i admire the complexity of it given the time it was made, although considered simple by todays standards; but you can still play it now and be like, damn thats a pretty good game.

You forgot final fantasy X-2 and 12 being bad lol
