Course that could also mean that people overrate older games because they feel they were better "for the time" when in reality they really weren't. Or because a majority of the people here played FF7 as their first RPG and fell for the highly commercialized, cliche characters and story. It boggles my mind!

Hmmm. There's one fatal flaw in your plan, you weren't expecting me to vote for IX. HAAA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA... it's all going according to plan, one by one the people will start voting for IX!
