8 and 7 are my 2 favorites

the overall story and gameplay of both was amazing. i never actually played all of 7 but played a lot with my friend and the materia is cool as hell. i liked 8 better becuase of the junctions and all the different ways you could do stuff.

FFX definetly...the most indepth and clean, not to mention a killer storyline and gameplay...FFVII a close second though
