i cant play ff7 cuz i loant it to frend and he scrachd it smitherns but the 20 mins i did play was gmfg
10 is good could have used a bit more stuff
12 was ez once i got the zodiac speer

I'm at 250 hours. All I have left is that damn fishing badge to unlock, Omega Mk and off to Bahamut to finish the game. I have done everything else. Every side quest and made every weapon that there is to make. Still need danjuro and Artemis Bow, moon dust x2 which I don't have even one yet. Damn Mu rabbit won't drop it even after 100 chain.
I suggest FF XII. Thats just my opinion, I've never played 7.
If you just follow the story in FF XII its done in about 60-80 hours. But if you do every side quest......plus the hunts of the 80 rare monsters. Just the 80 rare will take you at least 50 hours. They don't always spawn. Downside to the game, the % of treasure rate. They have % of spawning the treasure and then when thats available there's a % of the Item being in the treasure itself.
When you're looking for Ensanguined Sheild.......I tell you good luck. Thats amazingly hard to get it to spawn. Don't do like me and open the treasure in Balfonheim without DA. One time only chest

THE 7 HAS BEEN THE BEST!!! i know that the new ones are better grafic and all this but the 7 was a video game revolution actually whole ffs is a revo lolll its one of the first good rgp made and all
