100% ff8?? Did you beat omega weapon?? And 7 is my favorite then 10 then 6 but all of them are pretty good only one I never got into was the 3 remake on ds

Yeah. I beat Omega Weapon and all the other sidequests. I got all the spells, GFs, cards, weapons, magazines, etc. Omega weapon isn't that hard imo if you can come up with a decent strategy (I had Rinoa doing tons of damage with Angel Wing, Quistis using defensive blue magic and items, and Squall using Doom Train to lower OW's defense and then use either Lionheart or defensive items to keep help Quistis). Rinoa did all the work, she does around 50k-70k damage per turn with Meteor while she's in Angel Wing mode... keep her alive and it's an easy win. You could also use Holy Wars or Selphie's The End, but that wouldn't be any fun at all.

Tbh, completing the game wasn't that hard or tirme consuming when compared to other FFs. FFX was imo the hardest to complete 100% because it took tons of grinding to be strong enough to beat the Dark Aeons (asuming you don't want to be a cheap shot and use Yojimbo), and some of the ultimate weapons required getting past some really hard and tedious minigames.

I've completed 100% FFs 3-10, with the exception of the rope jumping minigame in FFIX. Even though IX is my favourite, I could never make it to 999 jumps in that annoying as fuck minigame. Perhaps someday... meanwhile I'm planning on beating 100% the first 2 FF games some time later this year, since I never even finished them when I played them years ago.

Playing FF9 right now on my phone. My favorite too, right after FF6.

6 is really good, definetely one of the best ones. Amon its many good points, it's the first one to have a truly great soundtrack, and the characters (including Kefka) are all awesome....... well, except for Gau. I can't stand him

Gave VII my full attention two summers ago and found it all to be pretty bland. Found VIII, IX and X to be far superior in all aspects really; storyline, battle mechanics, character development, sidequests, you name it.

10 then 9 then 7 for me

I recently had a conversation about this game with my brother and we needed a resource to help us out remembering all the specifics about the story. Game was genuinely complex, they don't make them like they used to

Since VII was my first game of the series.

Personally found it interesting playing it and getting 255 in all stats way before ending the game, and there were no walkthroughs either... time has changed now.

FF 6 is my fave due to exponentially strong nostalgia. I also think that FF8 and FF9 are strong.

mine would go FF6>FF7>FF9>FF8. LOL Jon Tron from youtube seems to hate ff8 because he had to rework/rebuild upon not levelling up his magic, etc. this actually happened to me in Super Metroid yadda yadda i rage quit.

FF9 prolly has the least rage quit, so i guess it's a bit of a wash.
