It isn't that bad. I think the dress sphere idea was trying to reinforce a class system. With that being said, it also gave you a look on what kind of party you want to have and how you are going to balance it out. You may want to have a Warrior/ Black knight maxed on one character, then a Gunner/ Black mage on another and the last having a Alchemist/ White mage. You always have your healer, a warrior and your big damage dealer. I think this game was excellent.. Some dress spheres mind you are completely useless and once you max the alchemist you can't lose. I went with : Warrior/ Berserker/ Gunner / White mage, Warriour/ Gunner/ Alchemist/ Black Mage, Dark Knight/ Warrior. That was late in the game. It is a fun game to beat, and mind you the beginning is boring. I think once you start getting deeper into it and start hitting the better dress spheres it becomes a much more enjoyable game. Alchemist is a GREAT dress sphere. If you intend on playing this game you will notice how great it is. It deals decent damage and has a stash ability. Once you learn about the "stashes" you become unstoppable. It basically gives you an unlimited supply of the item you learn to stash. For example if you learn "Stash X-potion" You can use an X potion each turn without it taking any from your inventory. Also Dark knight's dress sphere comes with Immunity to most dark magics ( confuse/ poison/ ect.) and a wicked mean Sacrifice move. It is an over-all decent game, give it another shot?
the game was really good, i dont understand what you people are all screaming about *exception of this guy*
the gameplay was good
the dresssphere grid was really fucking cool
the storyline was amazing<-- how could you say its not.
everything worked in this game
same as it has for the last 9 FF
lol.. the only difference was the fact that all the main charcs were Female
again,, the storyline was amazing<-- just cause you cant understand what goes through a females mind doesnt mean we all cant.. this game nailed that really really well i think.. i put over 180 hours into this game to finally beat it 100% and it was worth it for every second
