on Ps2? For an Rpg, they are pretty well impossible TO beat

are you doing the orig ff2? or ps2 rm (ff4) because ff2 for the snes is really ff4 incase you didnt know and 3 is only in japanese(unless translated on a rom)

I'm playing the Final Fantasy Origins disc which has the original FF2 not the SNES version. The only actual FFs I don't have are Tactics, CC, and FF3. Maybe missing some more if they were released like GB or something. I have Mystic Quest on emulator along with the actual SNES versions but I'll play them on the Playstation.

I'm at the last boss of 2 but I need to level my magic more. You are virtually unbeatbale in 2 once you get the Healing Staff. I would have to vote it as one of the best weapons ever.

I'm closing in on 100hrs now. I'm at 91hr and I almost feel like restarting just cause I want to do all those side quest. I sold the great serpentskin from the mines hunt so I won't be able to do one of the side quest. And now my problem is, I have no clue how to open the right door for Garamsythe Waterway for the White Mousse hunt. I have no guide and I've been searching where do find another way to get in there. I can't open the right door, the other door is open but you can't go anywhere really.

Gamefaqs has guides for everything. Also they have a message board to post specific questions. I am not home right now so can't check my guide or anything and don't remember offhand but I do remember that that took me a while when I was there too.

Its fine, I just told myself to do every passage in the Central Waterway control there had to be some steps leading to the otherside that wasn't under water. Found it finally, just had to do them all. Killed White Mousse but I am wondering now if I should go after espers, cause they suck. I took Belias since Mousse was weak vs fire. He died on 2 hits. Starting to believe it will be a waste to go after the non story line espers. I haven't used Mateus yet. Have her just never bothered summoning that one. Basically made Penelo my main magic user and she fired away Fira's while Bashe and Vaan took the hits.
I'm suppose to go to that place forget the name, north from Nalbina but instead i'm running around doing the hunts. Close to 20 hunts now. Going for Orthios in the Gateway now.
If you're still playing FF XII, where abouts are you now?

I haven't played 12 in a while but I am currently battling Yiazmat. I find this fight to be so incredibly boring that it's hard to get into playing it. I have all the espers and have completed all hunts. After Yiazmat all I will do is try n track down all 80 rare monsters and then I will wash my hands of the game.


I'd say go after the optional espers if nothing else but to fight them. They make some good bosses.

Yep, I agree. The only ones I havn't played are 1-4.

Don't get your hopes up too quick though. This is going to take me probably the entire summer at least. Work 3 jobs basically and otherwise don't have much time. But I am still at the end of FF2 so will have 2 down. And also still working on Yiazmat and then it'll be off to hunt rares then I'll be done with 12.
I don't have 3 so next game will be FF4.
