Yea, Tera didn't really start out hot either, they had like 2-3 high pop servers at launch and all the other were pretty much Dead on Arrival.
... and the point he was making happens to pretty much all mmos, influx of people, rapid loss of same people.
And Lol at tera, masquerading as a non p2w with those massive sub benefits, who you trying to kid.
That was their biggest mistake.

So you agree its nothing at all like tera, you just think that the game will end up the same way while having nothing in common with the year. SE will never adopt a f2p model which sets it pretty far apart from your common cash grab mmo like tera. Small companies like that aren't capable of producing new content for an memo at a satisfactory rate for the player base, then ultimately realize their only hope of turning a profit is from their cash shop. SE will never make a f2p mmo and will never add a cash shop.
Of course some people will stop playing ffxiv after it comes out. But at the same time wow LOST more subscribers this year than ffxiv will even have lol. Its gonna be interesting IMO.
You must be a SE fanboy or something, sheesh.
Despite WoW losing several subscribers, they're still alive and kicking
unlike every single other MMO out there.
If they keep up the same rate as 1.0, the economy system will fail miserably and the game will fail to succeed on the long run.
