Ohh emm gee. You guys are both idiots.

Final Fantasy X was ridiculously easy, if you studied the characters'
base statistics in conjunction with their path in the sphere grid. For example, Rikku has the highest base speed (speed rating before
any modifications. Therefore, if you can increase her attack enough to make her hit as much as, say, Auron... she quickly becomes
godly. If you actually spent enough time on the game to complete each character's path through the sphere grid, you would know that the party you should use and the party you shouldn't is extremely obvious. Rikku, Yuna, and Tidus are the three best characters in the game, hands down. Kimarhi, Lulu, Auron, and Wakka are all blatantly horrible. Here's why:
Rikku, as mentioned previously, has the highest base speed of all the characters. So, when you're done with her path in the sphere grid, it only makes sense to beef her up a bit. Send her through Auron. Rikku's speed is phenomenal, so when you add Auron's power to it, she becomes the best character in the game. However, since Auron's base speed is so low, it's ineffective to send him through Rikku for more speed as he'll still be too slow to do anything substantial. The comment about Gil was completely retarded. Rikku was hitting for over 20k damage at the endgame when I built her like this, and she was the fastest as well. Stealing is unnecessary when she's stronger
and faster than the game's supposed "tank".
Yuna is strictly better than Lulu. Yuna has a base speed almost matching Rikku's and her magic is MUCH higher than Lulu's. Her sphere grid is also fairly short, so it's extremely easy to just throw her into Lulu's path after finishing her own. But again, since Lulu's base speed is so slow, you can't do this the opposite way because she'll just suck. Not that it matters... Lulu has such a low base magic she's almost better as a beater.

Finally, Tidus. Tidus sucks. In all actuality there are
two good characters and four bad ones. But he's still the best choice for filler. He's fast, he's strong (after you send him through Auron ofc), and he has Hastega in his own path so he doesn't have to go searching for it. And if you have enough time, after you send him through Rikku he gets ridiculous. Still nothing compared to Rikku or Yuna, but he's still the best choice for filler.
If you don't believe me, feel free to PM me and I'll prove whatever theory you have incorrect. I know the statistics, and if you give me one I don't, it's not hard to look up.

The story of 12 sucked. Way too simple. The battle system was ok but abit too much running around for me. Overall I'd give it a 5/10, the only reason it being as high as it is, is because of the amazing graphics.
Back to XII, the storyline was very boring. The characters were undeveloped, and on top of that the lead character had nothing to do with 99% of the storyline. The battle system was amazing though, even if I do miss the old random battles a bit.

The graphics aren't that great compared to other modern games, and the license system becomes quite monotonous as does the method of getting Gil. The length and size of the game were good for people like me who thrive on wasting months playing one game, but for FF noobs it was enough to make them put the game down indefinately. All in all, FFXII is still one of the best games in the series, even if the storyline is one of the worst.
