honestly, character wise, vincent was a favorite. but that damn limit break made him terrible after disc 2....
My preferred team: Cloud/Barret/Cid
Barret and Cid had 2 of my favorite limit breaks, so that's mainly why i chose them. also, cloud and cid had triple materia growth weapons, which can really help grind the materia levels
