Loving the game so far, it shows a lot of promise.

I'm at the end of chapter 2, and so far it's an awesome game. Probably the best one I've played since ff9, and I've played them all.

Is it as easy as 13? And is the battle system different?

It's pretty easy so far, the battle system is mostly the same, but it has some fun tweaks.

Yeah so far so good i just beat episode 1, trying to figure out the best crystarium build.. thinking strong rav for serah and com for noel obviously. Gonna try to get some newer roles like sab and sen though via expansions
